AMD employees enjoy a lively social club, which hosts a variety of events throughout the year. There is one event per month, each with a different theme, to cater for different staff interests. The social club is heavily subsidized by the Directors of AMD, which allows us to have as many events as we do. Events include cooking classes, family orientated beach barbeques, social bowling, Friday sundowners, trips to adventure world, paid entry fees into fun runs and sporting events, just to name a few.

AMD also offers a range of social activities to all staff, these include end of month team meetings, end of financial year and Christmas celebrations, corporate sporting events, morning teas, just to name a few.



AMD support selected charities throughout the year by holding various dress-down days and morning teas. The charities chosen to support are nominated by AMD team members each year, and are usually locally based.

AMD actively supports and participates in Relay for Life each year. We also sponsor other local events, organisations and schools, with a preference to those which staff members are actively involved in.


Flexible working arrangements

Recognising the need for employees to maintain balances between work, family and personal commitments, AMD supports flexible hours, with a range of options available to suit staff. These include part-time employment opportunities, flexible work commencement hours, and time off in lieu (TOIL).



AMD is big on training and development and offers structured training programmes. These include a structured Graduate programme for the first year of employment (includes online training, on the job guidance and mentorship); full day training sessions run by Chartered Accountants ANZ; internal peer training; mentorship; training webinars; and attendance to workshops. Employees whom are studying enjoy paid exam leave.


CA / CPA programme financial support

AMD supports employees undertaking CA and CPA studies by paying for unit fees and professional memberships (including the provisional memberships for employees whom are studying).

AMD also has a generous study and exam leave policy which provides paid time off for employees around exam time.


AMD has three offices in Western Australia (the Bunbury Head Office, Mandurah and Geraldton). Secondment is available to other offices, and new job vacancies are promoted internally, with staff offered the opportunity to apply for these positions. AMD also have international opportunities available through BKR.



At AMD, we believe in developing our team members by providing appropriate training and other career opportunities. To facilitate this, performance and career development reviews are held every 6 months at AMD. These reviews are focused on individual career mapping and opportunities on an individual basis.



The AMD Head Office is located in the heart of the Bunbury CBD, with parking facilities, cafes, and shops all close by.

The office has a large lunch room with amenities such as a coffee machine, vending machine, TV and couch for employees to enjoy during their lunch breaks and after work drinks.

There are showers available for those who choose to exercise before work. Secured bicycle parking is available should employees cycle into work.



AMD provides a full uniform for Administration staff, with a generous allowance each year. The uniforms are selected based on the feedback from the Administration staff, and are regularly updated in order to keep up with fashion trends.



AMD offers salary sacrifice on goods such as computers, laptops, iPads or tablets and mobile phones to permanent employees.



As part of our commitment to employee health and wellbeing, AMD provides onsite flu vaccinations to all staff in April each year.


Employee Assistance Program

We provide confidential professional counselling through our EAP provider to employees for work, personal or family problems.
